Stainless Steel

17/4PH

17% chromium, 4% nickel. A precipitation hardening stainless with high strength and hardness,
excellent corrosion resistance and easy heat treatment.

 UNS S31803

A high strength duplex stainless steel

 UNS S32760

A super duplex grade  which offers enhanced pitting and crevice corrosion resistance compared with
the ordinary austenitic or duplex types

 FV520B

FV520B is a precipitation hardening stainless steel with excellent antigalling characteristics.

303

18% chromium, 9% nickel free machining stainless. It offers good corrosion resistance with better
 machinability.

304

18% chromium, 9% nickel stainless. Good all-round austenitic grade for general purpose corrosion
 resistant applications.

310

25% chromium, 20% nickel stainless. A heat resisting stainless with good resistance to scaling at
 high temperatures.

316

18% chromium, 11% nickel, 2½% molybdenum stainless. The molybdenum content enables high
 resistance to corrosion.

321

18% chromium, 10% nickel stainless. Similar to 304 but titanium stabilized, which offers improved
 welding properties.

410

General purpose grade often supplied in the hardened, but still machinable condition, for
applications where high strength and moderate heat and corrosion resistance are required.

416

13% chromium, free machining stainless. Usually supplied ready heat treated and offering excellent
 machining properties.

420

13% chromium stainless steel which will achieve a high hardness. It gives a good polish and is
resistant to attack from corrosive plastics.

431

17% chromium, 2½% nickel stainless. Supplied heat treated with a high tensile strength.

440B

A high carbon martensitic stainless with moderate corrosion resistance good strength and the
ability to obtain and keep excellent hardness (Rc 58) and wear resistance.

440C

With an slightly increased carbon content it achieves a higher hardness than 440B stainless
 specification.
